There are over millions of homeless people in the United States. Thousands of buildings are abandoned, and many of them are motels/hotels. Why aren’t those buildings being used as transitional housing? What if the homeless person were YOU. No man or woman should be sleeping on the streets!
What about the kids?
Child homelessness is often underestimated. Policymakers tend to under-count families experiencing homelessness. In many cases, the type of shelters available to families contributes to trauma experienced by children. According to the National Center on Family Homelessness, there are more than 1.6 million homeless children living in America. Families with young children now account for about one third of the homeless population, but this is overlooked. When children are quiet, many times there is a reason for this. We see homeless children every day. They stand right beside us, but we don’t know it. Atlanta has homeless children. Chicago has homeless children. New York has homeless children. Washington D.C. has homeless children. We see them every day, but we don’t know they are homeless.
We have partnered with multiple shelters to be effect with our works. To ensure that those that don’t want to be homeless and get out of that situation. We are in the planning stages of opening our very own innovative shelters. Shelters that help homeless individuals transition back into society are vital; however, there are not nearly enough. Join us in our efforts to rebuilding cities, as well rebuilding the mindset of America. Don’t judge the homeless, HELP THE HOMELESS! Give to us, and we will provide resources for homeless individuals accordingly. You can always volunteer and therefore become a team member. As a team member you can become a part of the solution. There are over millions of homeless people in the United States. Many homeless people are treated like criminals. Join us and let’s change America together, one homeless person at a time.
