30th Annual Thanksgiving Feeding Campaign

For 30 years, In Time of Need, Inc. has worked to make sure families can experience the joy and dignity of sharing a Thanksgiving meal together. This year, we are once again preparing to provide 2,000 families with food for a complete Thanksgiving dinner across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and we need the support of our community.

This is not a soup kitchen or a single prepared meal. We provide families with the food they need to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner in their own homes, including much more than just the turkey.

Financial donations are needed immediately so we can begin placing our food orders. Turkeys and other essential items must be preordered early to ensure they are available when families need them. We are also seeking volunteers to help deliver food directly to families.

We invite individuals, businesses, churches, corporations, and community organizations to stand with us and help make a difference. Every donation helps us put Thanksgiving dinner on another family's table.

The In Time of Need Children's Fund was created with one simple mission: to ensure that no child is left behind because of financial hardship.

Every day, children throughout Metro Atlanta face challenges that most of us take for granted. Some begin the school year without new clothes, backpacks, or school supplies. Others struggle to complete homework because they don't have access to a computer or reliable technology. Many families are forced to make heartbreaking decisions between paying rent, buying groceries, or purchasing the basic necessities their children need to succeed.

At In Time of Need, Inc., we believe every child deserves more than an education. They deserve confidence, dignity, hope, and the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Housing Crisis Response

Help a Single Mother Escape Life in Her Car

No family should have to raise their children in a car. Right now, a single mother in our community is doing exactly that, after losing her home to eviction and having nowhere else to turn.

When the bills became impossible to keep up with, she lost her housing. Now she and her children are living out of their car, uncertain each night where they will be safe, and unsure how much longer that car itself will be theirs.

A car is not a home, but for this family, it's all they have left.

Every night without stable housing puts a family's safety, health, and stability at risk. Children need a place to sleep, do homework, and simply be children, not worry about where the car will be parked or whether it will still be there in the morning.

By joining In Time of Need, you can help this mother and her children move from a car back into a home, and help keep the wheels underneath them in the meantime.
