In Time of Need is a non profit organization in Atlanta. We are asking for donations to be able to provide Christmas Toys for over 1000 families. This year more families asking for requesting assistance than ever before. The numbers of families registered to receive help is heartbreaking. On December 23, In Time of Need Incorporated will be loading up car/trucks, and we will head out to deliver toys to those families, that are in need of assistance for Christmas. The year 2022 makes our 19th Annual Santa’s Helpers Campaign. We have communicated with local agencies, school systems, and housing communities – to identify a major need for Christmas assistance this year. Our organization is currently seeking donations. We are desperately in need of more volunteers to assist with delivering toys to those that are in time of need.
Why Should You Help?
In Time of Need Incorporated wants every child to have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas. We are dedicated to help families in Atlanta for Christmas. Unfortunately many youth across the country are being raised in single parent households. This year we are in desperate need of your help as we will be providing toys to over 7000 children in the metro Atlanta area(s). We are living in a time with less resources. Many households of today are single-parent homes. Mothers are doing their best to feed on average 4 children. Food Stamps are issued at the very beginning of the month. By Mid-month all of the stamps are gone, and the family is hungry. So with this in mind, we understand why they can not provide gifts for Christmas.
In Time of Need is a nonprofit organization in Atlanta, and we care about everyone in our communities. The reality is that not all families have been in this situation. Over 70 percent of the families registered didn’t need help last year. You never know why someone is in that situation. You never know when you could be in the same situation!
