A letter from our Founder
Dear friends,
When we opened our doors in 1997, we made a simple promise: when our neighbors were in their time of need, we would be there. Twenty-eight years later, that promise still guides everything we do — and in 2025, because of you, we kept it again.
Behind every number in this report is a family that ate dinner together, a parent who could breathe a little easier, and a neighbor who was reminded they are not alone. Thank you for standing with us. None of this happens without our donors, our volunteers, and our community partners.

Our mission
IN TIME OF NEED Incorporated exists to stand with Atlanta families in their hardest moments — providing food, essential resources, and compassionate support so that no neighbor faces a crisis alone. Since 1997, we have worked to meet immediate needs with dignity while helping families move toward stability and hope.

In 2025, IN TIME OF NEED operated 31 active community programs across the Atlanta area. Three signature programs anchor our work:
Hope Harvest Campaign
Our Hope Harvest Campaign rallies donors, volunteers, and community partners to gather food and essential resources for Atlanta families facing hardship — turning the community's generosity into tangible relief for our neighbors when they need it most.
Feeding the Hungry
Feeding the Hungry is the heart of our mission and has been since 1997. Across our history we have served more than 2.3 million meals to families in need, and in 2025 this program continued putting food on tables across the Atlanta community.
Veteran Assistance Program
Those who served our country should never face hard times alone. Our Veteran Assistance Program connects local veterans and their families with food, essential resources, and caring support as they navigate life's challenges.
