FROM OUR ATHLETIC PROGRAM TO DUKE UNIVERSITY!
Hoop Dreams Athletics was created to give student-athletes a positive outlet and to ensure that youth participating in this program all receive full scholarship offers to colleges/universities. Over the past 27 years the student-athletes in our program have received over 200 million dollars in D1 College Scholarships. We have accomplished this by playing in AAU basketball tournaments, that college coaches attend throughout the United States.
We are currently seeking immediate donations to ensure that we can continue to get the youth in our program college scholarships. We are in need of immediate financial assistance through donations and sponsorships, because without it we will not be able to get our participants to the proper events to be seen by college coaches. While most see AAU basketball as a form of recreation, we realize that by offering AAU we are Bridging the GAP towards a full college scholarship.
No child left behind! We do not want any child regardless of race or gender to not be able to join Hoop Dreams Athletics because their parents can’t afford it. 🎒 1. Please Support Our Sleep-Away Summer Camps
In Time of Need, Inc. will be hosting Sleep-Away Summer Camps in the state of Georgia and in North Carolina. These camps will be provided to give underprivileged youth an opportunity to something new. Over 90% of the youth attending In Time of Need Incorporated Sleep-Away summer camps have never had this opportunity before. We will be teaching Arts, Music, Public Speaking, STEM, Reading, Cursive Handwriting, and Sports. We are seeking donations and sponsors as the Sleep-Away Summer Camp will be 100% FREE to all youth attending. We will have 2 locations operating at the same time, one in North Carolina and another in Georgia. Please consider making a contribution today! 💻 2. Donate a Laptop and/or Toys for Kids this Christmas
As hard as it is to believe there are many minority youth that do not own a laptop computer. Which means that these students are not always able to do their homework. And did you realize that during Christmas, over 85% of African American teenagers do not receive presents. We are asking for as much help as we can get to make a difference this Christmas Holiday. Your donations are greatly appreciated, and no donation is too small. It’s sad to see so many disadvantaged you with no presents under the tree. Help us make a difference this Christmas.
